Summer School
1st FAMOS Summer School
The first FAMOS Summer School will be held from July 14th to 18th, 2025, at the University of Florence, Italy. The contents will cover Ocean Waves, Marine Renewables and Converters, Floating Structures, and Stakeholder Engagement.
The program will combine lectures and hands-on sessions to impart knowledge and develop practical skills for participants. While particularly tailored for Master’s and PhD students, the summer school is open to anyone interested in these topics.
Participation is limited to 25 attendees and is free of charge. Candidate acceptance will be based on CVs and submitted statements of motivation.
Remote attendance is not available. Participants are solely responsible for obtaining necessary travel VISAs and arranging their accommodation during the summer school. The organizing committee cannot provide assistance with these procedures, and no financial support will be offered.
